Welcome to Zenon Bank. Your privacy is important to us. This platform is intended solely for users affiliated with Hammond Park Secondary College (School Code: 4210). By using this service, you acknowledge that you are a member of this school and consent to the practices described below. In the statements below, we will refers to the following terms as the following definitions

• 'our' refers to Zenon Bank
• 'user' refers to own the account
• 'administrators' refers to administratos at the school or organisation using our platform

1. Information We Collect

• Student name, year level, class name, and WASN (student number).
• Email address used to sign up for the platform.
• Account balance and banking transactions within the app.
• Class membership and pending join requests.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide access to banking features for students and staff.
• To allow teachers to manage classes and approve transactions.
• To enable administrators/teachers to oversee accounts safely.
• To send messages regarding school banking activities.

3. Sharing and Access

• Your data is ONLY accessible to users with appropriate roles (Teachers, Administrators) and is behind an user authentication firewall.
• Student users cannot view other students’ sensitive information or any info for that matter.
• Dev accounts are used for system maintenance and are hidden unless needed.
• Data will ONLY be shared to Zenon Bank personel and school administrators

4. Security

• If, by school rules, are allowed to obtain an account with Zenon bank
• We implement security measures to protect your data, including Firebase authentication, role-based access, and encrypted communication.
• Passwords are ONLY stored once encrypted in blowfish with a passphrase that changes every 10 seconds that only our server knows.
• Also in order to change a password to an account, teachers are required to send an reset link, to the email the user has given when signing up, to reset the password securely.
• If an administrator, teacher, or developer accounts' passwords have been leaked, the platform will enter lockdown mode which means that no one will be able to login and the server will be suspended until a person with clearance is able to reset the server via our secure terminal.

5. Consent

By signing up for Zenon Bank, you consent to this privacy policy. Only users affiliated with Hammond Park Secondary College (4210) should use this platform. Unauthorized access by non-school users is strictly prohibited and is agangst this very policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Users will be notified of major changes via messages on the platform and will be given a link to view the updated policy.
